Rupert was able to use his contacts with local Estate Agents, and knowledge of the area to secure viewings on a number of properties over a period of 4 months. As a complete newbie to viewing properties, it was a real learning curve, and although the goal posts moved a number of times throughout this search, Rupert took it in his stride and guided and enabled me to re-focus on what my priorities were. Without a doubt, if I had not had Rupert to steer me it would have been an almost impossible search.

My husband and I recently relocated to London this fall and engaged Black Brick as our search agent. They were knowledgeable, kind and helpful in all aspects of our move. We had a short timeframe and specific criteria (ie 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, tall ceilings, sunlight, etc) and Black Brick proved invaluable in our search. The Central London real estate market is insane. The weak pound Sterling and rising interest rates caused an influx of foreign investors and low inventory creating a super sellers’ market and many bidding wars between buyers. Black Brick viewed and culled over 40 properties on our behalf, persevering until he found us the perfect flat.
Even though, we had an accepted bid, another buyer started a bidding war. (UK bids are not legally binding until an “exchange of contracts” that usually occurs 6-8 weeks after an accepted bid.) However, this is when Black Brick's expertise and charm shone through. Not only did he secure us the flat, exchanging contracts in less than 2 weeks, but we purchased it for less than the competitor’s bid. No doubt, without Black Brick we would never have found the flat, much less been successful at purchasing it. We highly recommend Black Brick to anyone thinking of entering the London real estate market.
