Having recently retired and with older children, our clients regularly visited London, often staying in hotels. They engaged our buying agency service to help them navigate the often-complex London property market, give expert guidance on different areas, and to manage their purchase from beginning to end. Our challenge was to find a 2 – 3 bed apartment in turnkey condition, with a focus on the popular areas of Marylebone and Chelsea.

We undertook a thorough search of the markets in Marylebone and Chelsea, previewing multiple options and creating a shortlist. We then spent time showing our clients the best options across the two neighbourhoods, and as the search progressed, we narrowed down the search to the Chelsea area due to its fantastic shops, restaurants, and buzzy village feel. Following some further viewings, we identified a turnkey apartment in one of the areas most popular ported buildings, just off the Kings Road. The apartment offered over 1,000 sq ft of living space, with two large bedrooms and a bright reception room. Having been recently refurbished by a developer, the property was presented in excellent condition and ready to move into straight away.

We presented a well-constructed offer to the sellers, and following negotiations, successfully agreed terms to purchase the property, removing it from the market and saving our client approximately 5% from the guide price. Ensuring our client had the best team in place to advance the purchase was essential, recommending solicitors and surveyors from our experienced black book and communicating with all parties throughout the process. We are delighted that our clients have now exchanged on the purchase and have no doubt they will enjoy using the apartment, and everything Chelsea has to offer.
