The Challenge

We were instructed to find a large two-to-three-bedroom flat or house, with plenty of light and somewhere for their bikes close to the medical district in Marylebone. Our clients both work in the medical field and wanted to be closer to their respective surgeries.

With low levels of stock and high demand, this area of the market was highly competitive and, as a result, our clients had been looking on their own for nearly a year before instructing us.

 

The Perfect Conclusion

Using our close relationship with one of the estate agents in the area, we were the first in to preview an off-market mews house which hit all their criteria and importantly was right in the area they wanted to be. It needed some work, but the house was exactly what they were looking for.

It was no surprise that, despite our early access, there was competition from another buyer which resulted in our client competing in a sealed bid. We were able to give our clients the confidence and guidance to put their best foot forward to successfully navigate a competitive bidding scenario against fierce competition.
