The Challenge

Our clients have lived in Mayfair for several years and with a newborn due in March, required a larger property more suitable for family living. Having initially tried to navigate the rental market by themselves, they failed to secure a property either due to unsuitable options or negotiations breaking down. With a growing family and short on time, they engaged our rental search services to help with the search, negotiate terms and manage the process from start to finish.

The focus was to find a property that was in excellent condition, had a minimum of three bedrooms, good living space as well as gym/spa facilities. Along with Mayfair, we identified the neighbourhoods of Marylebone, Regents Park, and Belgravia as other areas to consider.

 

The Perfect Conclusion

Having reviewed what our clients had already seen, we undertook a thorough search of the market and spent time showing our clients the best options across the different neighbourhoods. As the search evolved, the focus went back to a house in Mayfair that our clients had offered on previously however negotiations had broken down as the landlord decided they wanted to sell the house. We re approached the landlord with a well-structured offer that put our clients in the best possible position. We highlighted their strengths as the best quality corporate tenants with exemplary credential’s and reminded the Landlord of the challenges of selling in the current market. We successfully secured a three-year tenancy with a move in date for the end of January, ensuring that our clients are settled for their new arrival.
