The Challenge

Our client was looking for their first home in London. We had previously looked after our clients’ parents assisting them with the purchase of their London home almost 20 years ago, so it was lovely to have been entrusted to look after the family once again, this time for their daughters first purchase. The brief was for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom property in good condition with a budget of up to £2 million. They had been living in the family property in St Johns Wood and wanted to stay in the same area around St Johns Wood and Primrose Hill.

 

The Perfect Conclusion

After an extensive search, we successfully sourced a unique opportunity on St Edmunds Close next to Primrose Hill. The property is a freehold house with five bedrooms and a private garage. The property has more space than our client needed but we felt was a fantastic investment opportunity and would serve as an excellent long-term home. It also has the benefit of being close to the family home. Tough negotiations over an extended period of time also meant we were able to negotiate an impressive 15% saving from the asking price.
